📖 Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: when one of you prostrates himself he must not kneel in the manner of camel, but should put down his hands before his knees. Sunan Abi Dawud, 840 (Sahih) ‏ إِذَا سَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَبْرُكْ كَمَا يَبْرُكُ الْبَعِيرُ وَلْيَضَعْ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ ‏

Albani said: The opposing hadith [stating that he used to prostrate placing his knees on floor before his hands] is unauthentic, which is the view of Imam Malik, and Imäm Aḥmad as stated by Ibn al-Jawzī in al-Tahqiq (108/2), and al-Marwazi reported in his Masa'il (1/147/1) with şaḥīḥ isnād that Imām al-Awza'î said: "I saw people go down on their hands before their knees [when prostrating]." 6 Abū Dāwūd, Tammam in al-Fawa'id (108/1), Al-Nasai in his Sunan al-Şughra and Sunan Kubră (1/47 photocopied from the King 'Abdul 'Azīz University in Makkah) with a şahih isnād, and authenticiated by 'Abdul Haqq al-Ishbili in al-Abkam al-Kubra (54/1) and said in Kitab al-Tahajjud (56/1): "Its chain of narrators is better than the preceding one i.e. it is more authentic than the hadith of Wa'il which opposes it." Aside of its contradiction to the authentic hadith about this hadith and the other hadith about placing the hands before the knees, its chain of narrators weak as I explained in Silsilah Ahädith al-Da'ifah #929 and al Irva' #357. Albani said: You should know that opposing the way of camels by placing the hands before the knees is because camels go down on their knees first and the knees of camels are found their hands as stated in Lisan al-'Arab and other Arabic language lexicon. Al Taḥāwi mentioned similar meanings in Mushkil al-'Athär and Sharh Ma'ani al-'Åthär, and so did Imam al-Qāsim al-Saraqusți who reported in Gharib al-hadith (2/70/1-2) with an au thentic chain of narrators that Ab Hurayrah (radiy Allahu 'anhu) said "do not go down just like how a fleeing camel does." The Imăm commented on it: "This statement refers to prostration and the meaning of his statement is that one should not throw himself on the floor as a fleeing disturbed camel, but rather go down with comfort on his hands then his knees; and it was reported in a hadith that was raised to the Prophet () explaining this matter." Then, he mentioned the above hadith. On the other hand, Ibn al-Qayyim said a concerning this explanation: "It is an illogical statement that is unknown to the experts of language" which an odd objection that the previously mentioned references and many other references refute! I elaborated on this subject in my response to the letter of Shaykhs al-Twayjiri, which I hope will be published.

But if he greets his brother’s daughters, maternal aunts' daughters, or paternal uncles' daughters, or visits them and greets them without any temptation, but with hijab and modesty, and not being alone with any of them, there is nothing wrong with this. This has been the practice from the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to this day. Questioner: Is shaking hands permissible? Shaykh ibn Baaz: Shaking hands is not permissible. A man should only shake hands with his mahrams like his sister or paternal aunt. He should not shake hands with non-mahram women, even his maternal or paternal cousins. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I do not shake hands with women." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that when the Prophet took the pledge from women, his hand never touched a woman's hand. He used to take the pledge verbally. Salam alaykum. Brother can you advise me. Sometimes it gets confusing as to how we go about this ruling in real life. When an uncle comes to my house with his daughters what exactly are we allowed to do? Can I greet them and then sit with them with my uncle in the same room and ask general questions about life (without laughing and jokin)? Or do we segregate straight away? If I went to my uncles house is my cousin sister allowed to appear with hijab on infront of me? And talk general stuff without khalwa and soft speech? Can we sit and eat on the same table without khalwa and soft speech? Or is the basic asl that being face to face violates the qur'an?

Assalamualikum I have a problem regarding ocd and waswas and also and constant feeling which makes me almost certain that I pass wind majority of the times I make wudu and pray. It sometimes takes me upto 2/3 hours to pray a salah. It had made me lose khushoo and sweetness of salah. The feeling of me passing wind is not constant when l'm not doing wudu or salah but As soon as I put my hands to wash them for wudu I get this feeling. and I can go periods without feeling it. It feels more like a sting and release of wind and I'm almost certain it is me breaking wind. My dad told me to make one wudu per salah and no matter what I feel I should carry on but the problem is that the feeling is not continuous and the fatwa that was given was that the ruling should only apply to those with constant flatuency. Please tell me what I can do to ease my situation may Allah SWT bless us all Barakallahu fik. Also, I have a lot of stomach issues and do pass quite a lot of gas throughout the day but not enough to the point where I am excused and I can go through periods without passing it

In Morocco, as in all countries, it takes time to adapt. If you stay for a while, you'll eventually adapt. Certainly , not everything is as organised, as clean or as fast as in the USA (or Europe). Admittedly, some of the population has a tendency to westernise (part of the bourgeoisie who idealise the West too much). But Morocco does have some advantages over the USA (or Europe): - Women can wear the hijab without risk (and men can wear quamis) and without risking a racist attack. - There are more mosques (with adhan) - religion is easier to practise (halal meat, Ramadan, aid festivals, etc.) - Life is cheap for a European. - it's a safer country (of course, there are bad people in Morocco, as there are everywhere). - Unlike some Western countries, some bad things will never be taught to your children in school, even private schools, and you'll never see anything weird in administrative papers (like "gender indeterminate", "parent 1", "parent 2" for g*y couples...). And a child will never say to your child: "I've got two dads or two mums’’ ! - There is much less tax than in some European countries. - There's more sunshine than in the UK. -... Prefer Casablanca or Marrakech if you like city life. In the beginning that can be quite difficult but over Time , In the long run, you will see that the advantages of living in Morocco outweigh the disadvantages.
